Feedback Summary
Very cliched plot
The class thought that the plot we had originally chosen to use was very clichéd and had been used in lots of music videos before, they therefore concluded that this plot was not appealing to them as it has been used many times before. Taking this feedback into account we changed our plot outline and as director and writer changed the plot to portray the conventions of being rich and poor as this is an idea that is not done much in many music videos, meaning that our music video is unique and more appealing to our chosen audience.
How is custom music going to be professional?
The audience also felt that by recording the music by ourselves as a group was a big step that required a lot of attention because if the music was recording with just a computer then the outcome will sound very amateurish. Taken this feedback into account as I am the composer of the song I have purchased a high quality microphone to go with the computer, this is to ensure that the audio is of high quality as this is want our audience wanted and me as the composer I want to make sure the quality is of high standard and meets the requirements of our chosen audience.
Not many music videos end up with fights
The class thought that the finish of our music video was a disadvantage because most of the music videos that are aimed at our chosen audience do not end in violence and because of this even though it was a unique idea that made our music video standout, it was a disadvantage as there were not many examples that we could use to gain ideas from. As the director and writer I made the decision to change the ending of our music video to something with a strong message and this is why as director I have decided to convey a story of rags to riches as this is a good finish and appeals to our target audience.
Does our video have a message?
From our pitch for our original idea the audience found it hard to find the message of our music video because it is guys fighting over a girl this has been overrepresented in music videos and this plot normally does not have a clear message for the audience. From this feedback as director I went back to the drawing board with my group and after an intensive review of our previous plot we decided to change our idea because we too did not find a message in the previous plot and we so we changed this to appeal to our target audience and make sure that our music video had a message that is strong but also clear to our target audience.
Influential Videos

Influential Videos
This is one of our influential films and there is a violent scene in this one and we wanted to incorporate that into our music video so we wanted to show how this would be done. the other one also shows a story of a gangsta life and how innocent people can be put in danger and the severity of this is shown in the video.

this is the way the song was originally done and we wanted to make sure that we would interpret it ourselves and make sure it was done well but also conveyed different themes within it.

Snapchat

The founders first spread the word about Snap-chat to college friends at Stanford University, but the app’s popularity didn't really start to take-off until it made its way into the high school ranks to become a popular means of communication for teenagers.
It gave young teens an opportunity to exchange messages quickly and left no evidence for the rest of the world, including the eyes of parental figures. The story goes that Spiegel’s mother told their cousin about the app who in turn showed his friends at a local high school in Southern California - from there the app began spreading like wildfire.
With Snapchat’s traction in early 2012, they attracted the attention of mainstream press including New York Times. TechCrunch and other press started to cover them too. While mainstream press framed the phenomenon around sexting, 80% of Snaps are sent during the day—the school day specifically—suggesting that it was less about sex and more about the freedom of expression without public ramifications that drove growth.
By the time the New York Times wrote about Snapchat, it was in the top 5 photo sharing apps, and it hasn't looked back. Snapchat has not only been one of the top downloads for photo and video app but has consistently been one of the top overall apps downloaded in the App Store.
The founders of Snapchat Evan Spiegel & Bobby Murphy
what was innovative about this app and why did people start using it?
It seems odd that at the beginning of the Internet everyone decided everything should stick around forever. I think our application makes communication a lot more human and natural.” - Spiegel
Think of the world that Snapchat entered, and it’s not hard to see why it exists. In a world where parties require people to leave their phones at the door, where rooms without lights are set up so no photography can be taken, where revenge sites are littered with photographic evidence of the indiscretions of an ex, Snapchat appears to provide a way out.
Snapchat allows users to send photos and videos to one or many friends, while limiting how long the recipients can see them. The maximum time is 10 seconds, just enough for the recipients to enjoy the moment before it is lost forever. To view the content, the recipient holds down a button. They can view the image until the counter expires or they let go of the button. After that, it’s gone.
To help foster the sense of privacy and security, Snapchat includes a built-in alert which notifies the sender if any of the recipients took a screenshot of the photo. Combined with the self-destructing nature, the app actively discourages the saving of photos. This creates less inhibition for users and an overall more fun, care-free experience.
In addition to photos and videos, Snapchat lets users express their creativity by adding text and drawing on the photos. This allows the user to create all types of goofy images and fun things that add to the experience.
What is the monetary value of Snapchat?
Spiegel started Snapchat in a Stanford University fraternity house in 2011 and turned down a $3 billion acquisition offer from Facebook Inc. in 2013. He raised funds from 23 investors at a $10 billion valuation last year.
Who owns it now?
Last year Snapchat infamously turned down a £1.8 billion ($3 billion) offer from Facebook - a decision that left many stunned. But the move seems to have paid off, as Snapchat's owners Evan Spiegel and Bobby Murphy are set to become billionaires according to the current valuations of the company.
Has the service or technology evolved or been used by consumers in a way that is different from the purpose intended by its creators?the owners of Snapchat originally created it to be for people to be able to chat to each other but in a fun and unique way which other social media companies such as Facebook do not offer the technology has kind of involved since then as it is not only used to send messages it can do more things like tell the weather and can also be used as something companies can advertise on it so it is very good to use for many different purposes.

DR.DRE
Considered by many to be hip-hop's greatest producer, Dr. Dre ( Andre Romell Young, born February 18, 1965) pioneered gangsta hip-hop and his own variation of the sound, dubbed G-Funk. His very early albums were violent but cautionary tales of the criminal mind, but Dre's records with NWA celebrated the hedonistic, amoralistic side of gang life

This Dr.dre when he was first started making music it was by luck that he met Ice Cube and together they worked on songs for ruthless records which was record label run by Eazy-E. As we can see from the picture you can see that Dre was a big part of the gang culture and that was they style he had when he started creating music and this shone through in the songs he used to make. Dre stuck with the Hip-Hop gangsta look for many years and people say this was a very big part of his character in those days and it added to the credibility in his music.

This was Dre in 1992 he was a big star now in the rap game thanks to the songs he released through ruthless records there was a financial dispute there so he then moved to Death row records and was one of the best selling artists of 1993 which eventually led to him winning a Grammy for the single 'let me ride' as you can see from the picture he kept his hip-hop gangsta persona and his music was still of the same genre he was always a big part of the gangsta genre and when he was 17 he had his oldest son who is now 33 with his girlfriend who was 16 years old at the time.

this is Dr.dre playing Paul in the film training day in 2001 in the film he still has his hip-hop persona which shows that he was not even going to change his personality even for a film and this proved to be a wise decision as the movie proved to be a big hit at the box office and most people say this was down to the persona and presence his character Paul brought to the movie.

this is Dr.dre in 2003 and he has now stopped rapping songs himself and he know owns his own record label he now produces songs and is so good he is announced as the godfather of the G-funk at this time he became a little more style and fashion trend conscious and began to move from the hip hop persona that has surrounded him for years.

Here is Dr.dre in 2011 as you can see he has been putting in a lot of gym work he said he did this because he wanted the world to see he was a perfectionist and that every thing that he does he puts his heart and soul into it he has also had had a style change and know has more of a business look and he has left the hip-hop look and is now more formal but this all comes with being a billionaire.

Books and Magazines
I normally if I need to study for exams will get my information from books and magazines which I will borrow from my local library but occasionally if I really cant find what I am looking for I will search through Newspapers I find my information like this because it is for me the best way I learn and retain information.
Internet
If I cannot find what I am looking for I will search for it on the internet I know that it would be easier to search for it on the internet but for me doing it that way means I am not learning much and I prefer the books and magazines way and that is just me because when I read stuff in the internet I do not remember it whereas if I read it from a book I am able to memorize what I have read.

Internet
If I need to find information not related to exams I will check the internet as I know it is a faster way of accessing information that I know I need. Most of the media I consume is at home (the exception being films that I watch in the cinema) this is because I feel more comfortable at home and when my friends come round they also fell comfortable aswell. I also consume media when I am away from home on my Phone.
